We seek for the students with Creativity, Challenging, and Caring (3C) sprit, which is same with the KAIST core value. All GESS participants are required to show their vision and passion to be global entrepreneurs through their applications.

Please prepare about 7-10 slides and consider that the selection committee also reviews how effectively and efficiently the applicant show a business plan in a few slides.

Yes. Your English skill as a future global entrepreneur is a main point to be considered.

Any experiences in a company (including a startup) are welcomed.

There is no strict cutoff limit in English test score. The selection committee considers if an applicant has any difficulty in communication during the program.

No. Unless you are in an exceptional case, all GESS participants are required to fully attend all sessions in GESS domestic and Silicon Valley program.

We officially convene 2-3 days in total during the spring academic semester for the domestic program. Also, you will have an official mentoring 1-2 hours/week with your mentor. And you may spend more time with your team members to develop your idea unofficially.

Yes. GESS supports the US visa application fee for those who are required.

You may have to cover your own meal costs by yourself.

It is always highly competitive, but difficult to open the exact number since it varies on time.
